PTF ContributionsDue to the wonderful support of our fundraisers each year, PTF was able to put a cover over a portion of the WCS playground this fall! This was a three year fundraising effort, and has aided to keep our kids cooler in the hot Oklahoma heat while they enjoy our fantastic playground.
PTF handles a number of different items throughout the school year including annual WCS spirit wear, teacher appreciation week, homeroom parent coordination, the Box Tops program, A+ Rewards, We Care and many more!
A note from the PTF Board
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Wesleyan Christian School PTF. WCS is truly blessed to have so many involved parents who put so much effort into making this such a wonderful community for everyone - students, teachers, staff and families!
It is the goal of the WCS PTF to provide service to WCS teachers and staff through meetings, programs and projects. The purpose of these services is to help maintain school spirit and provide fellowship between parents and teachers. Areas of service include spiritual, financial and physical support to WCS teachers and staff. By supporting our WCS faculty, we are supporting our children's education. Another main goal of PTF is to connect families to WCS in order to help further WCS in its mission to provide an outstanding spiritual and educational environment where all students are thoroughly prepared to fulfill God's purpose in their lives.
We encourage you to attend one of our monthly meetings and get to know us better! We have a special section in the WCS weekly newsletter that keeps all parents informed of PTF events and activities, times and dates. PTF also has a Facebook page where we post information as well. We would love to hear your ideas and get you involved! We have several categories to spark your interest – from fundraising, to marketing, communications, graphic designing and event coordination, there is a space for you to bring your area of expertise and help us grow!
1 Corinthians 12:14 is a direct belief of our PTF group, “For the body is not one member, but many.”
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our family!
